MI) – The Troy
Historic Village plays host to a fabulous Halloween event on Saturday, October
29 from 1-3 pm.
The legends and heroes of history are coming to the
Village this year for a very friendly (not scary or spooky) Halloween
event. Children can trick-or-treat from
building to building and listen to a tall tale told by Paul Bunyan, aka
Sheepshank Sam!
Park at Zion Church, 3668 Livernois, south of Wattles
Road, and ride the free shuttle bus to the Village. Admission: $5. Free admission for costumed
trick-or-treaters 12 years old and under when accompanied by an adult.
“The
village is a great backdrop for children to trick or treat in a fun and safe
environment while learning about history,” Museum Manager Loraine Campbell
said.
The
Troy Historic Village is located at 60 West Wattles Road at the northwest
corner of Wattles and Livernois. For
