Summer Treats
The Museum & Historic Village is a cool place to visit this summer. All activities are free with admission. Bring the kids and play "school" or try a game of marbles; Eat your picnic lunch on the Green; Find the ABCs of pioneer life in the log cabin; read a storybook with Cheddar the Mouse. Fun for all ages. Free with admission.

The museum offers our patrons:
- Ten historic buildings and a charming village green. Tour through the carefully restored buildings.
- Fine collections of nineteenth and early twentieth century artifacts. Researchers can arrange to work with staff to access archival records.
- Learning opportunities that are fun! Look under school programs or public programs for more information.
- A terrific place to visit again and again. The Troy Museum is open all year.
- The perfect setting for exploring, discovering, and enhancing your understanding of local history.
- Enjoy the "History is Fun Stop" with hands on activities in our Town Hall.

DID YOU KNOW?
- The story of Troy is told through the 10 historic buildings on the Village Green.
- Since 2001, 37 undergraduate interns from 6 Michigan universities have participated in over 3,500 hours of service training.
- In 2009/10 the Museum completed a new interpretive Master Plan to enhace visitor experiences.
- In 2010 a new volunteer orientation and training program will be implemented.
- The Troy Historical Society provides financial support for all Museum public programs.
- In 2010, the Museum provided a new Civil War program for 1,000 Troy eighth graders.
